COMMENTS REGARDING the 2007 EXPO

"MEDC believes events such as this are very important, especially among minority populations. Job creation and innovation are driven by small business."
- Winsley Durand, Minority Economic Development-Omaha Chamber of Commerce

"I wanted to say again how exciting the Expo was and how uplifting it truly was to see so many positive connections happening in one place for black businesses. We’ve been discussing the Expo here at Cox- and it gave our business services employees a great opportunity to see the business opportunities available to us among black owned businesses. "
- Tawanna Black, Director of Diversity, Cox Communications

"Congratulations for a job well done!  The Black Business Expo was a very good venue for getting our name out.  We made numerous contacts and this helped us to establish our network of resources.  The Expo was well organized and the coordinators made you feel welcome and they exhibited so much energy.  It was just a wonderful event, atmosphere and idea."
-Omaha Economic Development Corporation
